Not sure if I am going to be able to get on the Geo-bandwagon before gas prices rise and Geo prices skyrocket.
Thought about offering up one of my toys for a vert but starting to lean towards the body style I once had (2 door hatch).
I can see that maybe the verts are a little harder to find parts for (mainly some exterior and some interior) but other than that, are any parts unobtainums or eludiums (for any model, year, etc.)?
The yards here seem to only keep up to 10 year old vehicles, which sucks. So that would be an obstacle.

Welcome MudPuppy :cheers

MudPuppy was my CB radio name many, many years ago. The foreman on the construction site I worked at thought I was well suited for all the ditch digging jobs so he gave me the nic. :'(

I think Arkansas lacks Metro's :shake or people just never sell 'em.
Where are you fellow Arkansan's finding your Metro's or where have you had the best of luck?
I keep an eye on CL, the state paper and local radio.
Makes me wish I would've never sold my '96... sometimes I wonder who ended up with it.
If anyone here ended up with a turquoise/teal, 3/5, (I might be a little off on the year), 2 door hatch that had a good size dent on the rear driver quarter (before the rear wheel), gold hubcaps (not my addition) and tons of "odd" stickers all over the side and rear windows -that was once my Metro.

Oh and while I am at it - looking at an ad that states:
"Driven almost daily for the past 4000 miles, At that time: New tires, Air filter, Spark plugs, engine head. Rough interior, Oil pan needs replaced, Synchronizer issue with 1st gear, Have to slow down below 5-10 mph to shift into first..."
And would like to know what you guys/gals think?
Since I have been out of a Metro for quite awhile now and really didn't even get to keep my old Metro for long (was pretty much forced to sell it at the time).

Thanks in advance for the help and advice.
