Just wanted to introduce myself to the group. I thought I joined a few years ago, but must have been on another site. Ive had several of these cars from the first 86 Chevy Sprint In 1990 to the 98 Chevy metro that is down right now because of the dreaded frame horn rot that plagues us northerners. I have been looking for a decent parts car to repair the 98 and stumbled across a 91 convertible 3/5 that i just drove home tonight. guess I have to read up on some differences. The 91 metro I owned and this 91 vert, have some changes.. guess they came with the composite headlights and an air bag... were these standard on the vert? Had to drive it a hour home in the snow and she seems to have a miss. haven't really had a chance to look at her yet( except the front end crawl and poke), ill check her out more when the sun comes up tomorrow. Ive never posted here but have stalked the board when I get a chance.

Thanks... its still snowing but went to take a look under the hood. thing has A/C, keeps getting better.. even if it doesn't work, I can make it happen. air conditioning is something ive never had working on any of my other Geo's, and I lived in Florida for 6 of them.. put the windows down and cruise in the heat. I thought it had 12" wheels on it when I crawled underneath. but they are 13's. makes me happy because I have a new set of tires for her to put on.
