I use whatever my wife has in the shower. Her legs are pretty and smooth so they can work on my ugly face.

I'd been using the same Gillette Atra since I bought it in the PX during basic training in 1985. Using generic blades made for the Atra that I stockpiled 15 years ago.

This year, I started using the Schick Quattro. Expensive, but not a bad shave.

I tried going back to the Atra since I still have maybe 4 or 5 blades left. Man that thing tore up my face!

Either my face is going soft, or those old blades are getting rough. Or maybe my face got toughened over the years using the Atra.

Awesome video KY :thumb

Last razors I bought were when I was out in CA 2 years ago, 2 packages of bic single blade bundle packs @ .79 each, have about half a pack left.

I also have a razor I inherited from my father that is similar to the one in the link Tofu posted which I used for 30 years and when I don't use the bics I use that.

Straight edge doesn't take much longer, It only took me about five minutes to shave. There's not much prep, you take out the razor, put lather on your face, shave. That's all the prep there is. Blade maintainence is the main deal, but that's not a big deal.

I have to shave every day for work and my macho 3 blades last 2 to 3 months.

I'm 50 yrs old, and I've never shaved regularly. I used to shave once a week, but now I use one of these

And do it about 3 times a week. I do my hair, then take off the attachment and do my face. I always look like I have a 2 day growth, but I don't care.

I just sent that Dollar shave club link to one of my coworkers yesterday. He was complaining about the cost of razors last week, so hopefully it's available to Canada. This guy's so cheap though, he'll probably think a dollar a month is too much. :-/

Mach 3. I have two, the "carbon fiber" looking one and the "sporty" red one. I shave maybe twice a week.

With no Wally World to speak of I got maybe 25 cartridges off eBay for cheap about 2 years ago.

I can't believe they have the Schick Quattro, I mean 4 blades, really. :-/ I'm holding out for the Mach 6 which should be twice as good as my Mach 3.

I have an old Trac ll. That my older brother gave me just before I went into the Army in 1983. I have pretty much given up on shaving. Like our friend at 3Tech, I run the electric clippers over my face about once a month. When my protective mask won't seal, I cut it off and start over again. I prefer to wear a long beard. But can't because of work.

Was watching Clark Howards show awhile back. He said one disposible razor lasts him a whole year. Said you have to dry it each time to keep it from rusting.

They do last a good long while, even without drying them completely which is why I still have so many left from my trip out to CA :hmm

i'm with suprf1y. i have a full beard and i use a little rechargable electric clipper to keep the fur knocked down on my neck.

about once a month i get out my wahl hair clippers, slide on the 3/8" comb adapter, and run it all over my head - hair and beard at the same time.
