Here in Spanaway Washington, there is a red Tracker, automatic, I finally got him to answer the door. I asked if he will sell the Tracker, no he's looking for a Transmission, it's been there for 5+ years!  Grrrrrr. Looking on Craigslist and anything with a Geo logo is like friggen Gold!  He's prob holding out for 4K like everyone else who is sellin Geo

...and by the way....Geo Trackers are fun and all.....I used to own one when they first came out. But they don't get great gas mileage. I mean, they get good gas mileage for what they are. But they're no Metro 50+ mpgs. |

Mine was a 5 speed and I only averaged around 26mph. Again, half of a Metro. |

Looks like my suzuki sidekick. After lowering it 2 coils, upper and lower grill block, removal of roof rack and some plastic trim panels on the top and rear I am hitting 40. I bet if I get some manual lockers or remove the front drive shaft it may gain a few mo mpg.  This is of course fasing all the way and coasting as much as possible with 40psi in the tires. Man, this car can coast like no ones business. |

Funny this was bumped. I went out today after work and fiddled around with the sidekick. 30 minutes later and its running great. Tomorrow I'm putting the cooling system back together to see how it sounds warmed up. I still dont trust the engine |

Trackers huh? Well I guess if yer into that...was never a Tracker fan myself. Storms I liked and owned 2 previous (both GSi) and I also owned a Prizm, but I never went for the Trackers. Especially with an automatic, yuck. |
