does anyone else feel robbed by the endings? no happily ever after ending? i mean i understand the situation was sort of grim and there wasn't much hope for survival but i was still hoping that shephard and his girlfriend (or boyfriend) would get to live happily ever after and the galaxy would go back to normal.

The only happy endings are in Taiwain :D
But yeah, I always feel sort of robbed by that. Especially if you choose the alternate path in the original Grand Theft Auto IV

yes i remember gta4. that wasn't as bad as this though. this was 4 YEARS in the making. this game left me with a feeling that i can only describe as being like what you feel like when you break up with someone you still like or when you watch someone you like go off and date someone else.

4 YEARS DAMNIT!!!

SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER
If shephard and tali (my character LI) had somehow ended up together in the end i would have been happy, but the only endings that i liked ended with shephard either not alive and the only alternative was that shephard was alive but stranded >:{.

Well, I suppose after 4 years to do that was pretty dick, but that's just how they roll, was a good game with nice graphics either way. :thumb

and the mass relays blowing up at the end pretty much dooms the galaxy to being seperated once again. i may be thinking this through too much for it just being a video game, but that means families, friends, and lovers are all now seperated permanently unless they were together before the relays blew. and shephard's whole crew besides him are stranded on some deserted planet.

I read absolutely nothing. I just wanna say that I've played the first two games and I'm a huge fan. Props for someone else liking this.

huh, i didn't get shot. anderson got shot then i killed the illusive man. i would have not minded going with the synthesis ending but then shephard is dead and the mass relays are gone. i wouldn't mind killing the reapers either but then shephard is alive and his crew, including Tali, are stranded somewhere away from him. i wouldn't have minded controlling the reapers if it didn't mean shephard died.

there's just no situation that is pleasing.

also, why was the normandy in the middle of a mass effect jump? that doesn't make any sense.

I think I chose a different path because Anderson got shot, then the Illusive man pointed his gun at me and I ignored him (as I tend to do) and got shot. I was forced into the renegade option I guess

i decided to just play this one through making my own decisions rather than letting the renegade/paragon path dictate what i had to choose. i ended up with a massive amount of military force and everything was going well until the end >:{ i shot him because i saw the renegade option and knew it was to shoot him, something i've wanted to do all game long.

I usually ignore the renegade options, I play as a Paragon but by that point in the game my paragon rating had maxed out fully

after playing 3 different playthroughs of me2 one paragon, one renegade, and one whatever i choose, i feel that choosing a path based on just selecting one of the two takes away from the game. they intended for you to make your own choices and watch them play out. in the end in me3 it really doesn't matter what you do, the 4 YEARS!!!!!!!!!!! of choices you made have only the very slightest effect on the outcome of the third game.

4 YEARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I played through 2 options and it sort of pissed me off that all the things that you had used/had learned from the previous games were completley thrown aside in 5 minutes but that's just how it was I guess.
