No, im not going to let them come get it, since im owed money on it, im still owed the tow bill i paid for to get the car to my shop, so the car will not be moved untill my tow bill is paid for. Im going to park a metro right in front of it tommorow morning, either that or im going to roll it on into my shop and move my gercedez, since he needs some sunlight after being garage kept for 3 months..... well hell i guess you can say 6 months since it was only out for 2-3 weeks, then back in the garage he went |

You need to get it into your shop. Present them a bill for the towing & your repairs. At this point, possession is 9/10 of the law. Scrap cars are bringing $11 per hundred lbs in my area right now. If they have a bill for $200 from you & they can only get, say $250 scrap for the car, then maybe they'd see the advantage of accepting $75-100 from you & call it even. |

in all honesty, the car isnt worth much, i might just swap a tail light, take my wiper switch, hunt the tools down in the car, and let them come get it, After thinkin about it, i dont need bad blood around my garage, just move on. |

Yea i would just take what you need off and let it go. Dont want to get mixed up in some bullshit lawsuit. I dont think you could make them pay the bill, just the previous owner of the car |

Also try not to give the repo guys a hard time. Usually they have nothing to really do with the car or the bill other than someone tells them to pick up a car |

Yea, true, i wonder if the p/o said they put a new battery in it.... id love to swap out one of my dead never holds a charge batteries for that new one. |
