OK. What's the ID of the large end of the rods 1, 2, & 3 without the bearings installed. We'll reverse figure this one out . . . |

ID of the big end of the connecting rods without bearings installed all measure 1.772". This measurement was the same for all three rods. |

Your nominal rod bearing thickness on #1 is 0.0580" Your nominal rod bearing thickness on #2 and #3 is 0.05825" If you would install rod bearings with a thickness of 0.0585" in all 3 rods, theoretically, your piston to crankshaft clearance will be 0.0015". I just happen to have a such set of rod bearings. |
