I had this code for a long time on my 2001 Metro. A couple shops couldn't figure it out. I basically thought the PCM was toast, so I found a PCM on eBay for super cheap. It worked fine but the code kept coming back, so I tried the old Oxygen Sensor - same thing. I broke out the manual and decided I need to find the pin for O2 Sensor signal and trace it down. I popped the glove box open again and staring at me is the RED wire on the C2 connector cut completely in half. The wiring harness was rubbing on bracket for the HVAC system. So I installed a butt connector, heat sealed the ends, taped up the harness and all sharp edges... code gone, O2 voltage oscillates back and forth like it should, fuel trims are normal, wow. I'm amazed. Check your wires!! |

Yeah, I was actually getting P0134 too. I think since there was no activity the PCM wasn't sure if the heater was bad or what to do next. |
