A lot of oil leaks come from the cam cover. It has a gasket within it but if you ever remove the cam then you break the seals around those caps as well and also leaks come from the distributor end as well. A good dose of rtv around the distributor mounting bracket gasket and a new distirbutor oring and a good dose around the where the seals mount into the head and cam cover and around the cover itself usually stops all leaks from that area. Many places it can leak from the cam cover area. |
