Like I posted earlier I just finished my rebuild, and something is wrong with my oil pressure? I I ran my engine for a couple of minutes would that hurt anything? I put a lot of oil in the cylinder and stuff and used white grease on the bearings and everything? I just want to make sure it did not hurt anything on the new engine. thanks for all your guys help. |

Only real way to see oil pressure is to put a gauge on it. Pull the plugs, hook up your gauge, and spin it for a bit. Then you'll see if there's oil pumping or not. You'll probably be fine. As long as it wasn't rattling & knocking. Good practice, for builds, is to spin them until the light goes out, or you read pressure on the gauge. Then you're OK to test fire. |
