Hello everyone,

I have a confession, I used the information on your forum to change the water pump and the timing belt on my wifes Geo Metro this weekend,I had never worked on one of these before.

I admit I couldn't have done it with you. :thumb

The information was accurate and detailed you have no idea how grateful I am.

Thank you !!! Beers or your favorite beverage all around! :cheers

Millwright, eh. I applied for that job but alas they want more direct, relevant experience in a real mill. :smackface

Yes, it was a lumber mill. It's called Evergreen Forest and is 15 mi. SW of New Meadows, Idaho. My wife and I toured it a few times when she was a reporter. Naturally during the tour I gravitated to any use of pressure gauges, that I used to calibrate in the Navy.

This is the job....
"Millwright to work off-shift in modern, updated central-Idaho lumber mill.
Description: Basic industrial mechanical or electrical knowledge required. Must have cutting and welding experience and knowledge of hydraulics. Individual needs to be a self starter who works well without direct supervision. Wage depends on experience. Full time position with full benefit package. Rotating off-shift, hours will will include evenings and some weekends."

And it is still listed. :smackface
