Oh yea, I realized the radio didn't work while I was driving it home so I checked the fuses. The 30amper that controls the door chime, dash lights and radio was out so I swapped it out. While I was down there, I noticed a few switches. Are these supposed to be there? I have no idea why they are but I'm thinking they may be cutoffs installed by the previous owner. Only one way to check but I don't wanna be flipping switches I don't know what they do.

Seriously... we need pictures. http://geometroforum.com/topic/2703156/1/

I had to install new struts in both our cars when I got them. Makes a world of difference for $215-$250 on eBay. yeah, I know, I'm underemployed.

Yes I know :-) I'll take some tomorrow and get them up here so everyone can get a good idea of what I've got here. It's far from perfect but the AC still works great lol. I'll also snap some pics of these awkward switches I was talking about near the passenger fuse block. I find it odd that the AirBag cover is the only thing on the dash that doesn't look faded as hell BUT it was also in an accident some time ago so the AB's may have deployed, hence destroying the passenger AB cover. I seriously doubt I can buy a new dash for this beast so for now I think I'll try to moisturize it somehow. Any suggestions as to what I should use? I see a lot of people get chastised for using Armor All but I have some Stoner products left from my truck.

Very clean Geo Metro, The ultimate gas saver, does about 40 MPG. Radio/casette player, the tires have about 80% thread left, breaks are about 70%. Runs great. There is no odometer tempering.

Was this guy as stupid as his writing suggests?

Good luck with the mileage, you're going to have to milk it pretty hard to get 40 mpg.

Lol well I don't expect to get 40 out of something with a 3 speed in it but it's better than the 12 I get in the truck. Besides that, after the election I'm expecting gas to skyrocket and I have no idea when I'll be able to get myself working again. As sad as it is this was the only thing I could find within 50 miles of here that got decent mileage in one piece. People really want some insane money for their used cars. These Geo's are considerably cheaper to work with than a lot of other budget cars for sale and I didn't have to swap a motor or trans adding to the 2K they think they're worth. I wasn't really looking for someone else's project car, been there done that. I do wish I could have found a 4/5 though, I kinda of miss shifting but my girl needs to be able to drive it too in case something happens.
