I have a boat battery in my pick-up. Truck only gets driven once or twice a year. I have two boat batteries in my boat, and two boat batteries in my camper. I love boat batteries. ![]() I've seen worse. Need an exterior door handle? |

Hey there, yeah it seems to work alright but my dad said he could use an extra boat battery for his boats and he'll buy me the proper battery for the car in exchange. ha works for me. And yes, I haven't had a chance to go to any junk yards to look for a new door handle but that is my first thing to fix because it's super annoying opening it the shade tree way haha. Was told by P/O that a new one is like 25 dollars at autozone or something. Haven't checked this out to be the case yet but surely I could find a cheaper one at a junk yard. |

Playing around with ideas of how I want it to look. I'm not crazy good at photoshop but managed to do a few things to a car that looked like mine if mine was taken care of lol. added: rims, slight window tint, shaved doorhandles (debating this), some trim work, and paint. oh and also those side lights front and back. silver(current color) ![]() for some reason this color attracted me. kinda gross color ha. ![]() burnt orange, more orange than red.

I'm partial to the orange. Anything bright will be seen better on the road, think fire truck. Less likely to be run into

haha that's funny because I've already been thinking about if people can even see me in this little car lol. I might have to paint it bright safety yellow to detour dingus drivers! I'm digging the weird burnt orange too, I've seen it on some old 90s cars but I couldn't reproduce it in photoshop. It's a great color though. |

Oh yes I just found out about roller painting cars! I was surprised at first but the results look nice. I will probably maybe research it some more or just do it with spray paint. If you do it right and the proper prep work it turns out good. I've seen some results on youtube. Or if I can find a paint gun for cheap at the flea market or garage sell I'll just do it the right way :] |

i've seen a metro painted a copper color, and a several orange paint jobs. both colors looked okay of a metro. yellow cars, especially the really bright (vs. pastel) yellow cars, look sharp. when i do a yellow vert i'll use red stripes and red wheels to get away from the yellow and black bumblebee look. |

yeah that's a good color too. I like that one also. Painting will probably be one of the latter things I do. I still have some body work to do and then gotta find a decent place to spray it. I'm thinking if I sand it down and get it all ready to paint then it should be cheaper for them just to spray it. |
