Well i know this is probably been a topic on here but couldn't find anything. So time to put some new tires on the front on my son's 1994 Geo Metro XFI. A few years back i put on Herculies G2000T 155/80 R12 all the way around. Now trying to locate more tires and talking to a couple local tire places it appears the 12s are a problem. They could get a 165/75 R12 in but i don't want to go a different size then the rears. I see all kinds of swaps on this page to convert or change rims but being a kids car i am trying to do it cheep and just replace the rubber.

Thoughts?
Mike

:D

DO NOT BUY NANKANG! Get Thunderer, WanLi, Classic All Season, or Westlakes.

165/75s are almost the exact same height as 155/80s

165/75s are about 3/8 inch wider.

my thoughts are that you are making a big deal about nothing---as long as they are replaced in pairs

Agreed. Every set of Nankang tires I've owned have had their belts break and start to wear abnormally.
