Welcome.
If you would prefer 45-50 mpg, then the Metro would be the right car. JMHO.

Welcome to your new forum, TheFamilySign!

So do the math. If you get 22 mpg at say $3.50/gal. vs Coche's 40 mpg ... http://www.fenclwebdesign.com/gas-mileage.php
If you average 65 miles a day, 5 days a week, for a year you do about 17,000 miles a year.

At 18,000 Miles Per Year and a Fuel Cost of $3.50
Your yearly fuel cost for your current vehicle is:..........$2863.64
Your yearly fuel cost for your new vehicle would be:...$1575.00
Your yearly fuel savings would be:....................$1288.64
Your yearly fuel savings in 5 years would be:...............$6443.20

Here's a car vs car comparison if you want to do the Geo vs a Honda: http://www.fueleconomy.gov/feg/Find.do?action=sbsSelect

So in theory your 40 mpg Geo should pay for it's self in a year. :)
