before that link gets you all heated up, scotty told me via pm that those seals were sold. he sent me the plastic window standoffs that were on the ends of the stainless steel mounting strips for my red vert. get ready for some serious sticker shock when you find those seal available. generally, they will be $100 and up. think long about the cost and the seals will disappear to someone else.

Dang, I was just going to make the same inquiry about the convertible top window seals for our '93 LSi convertible. Spent the day getting her all cleaned up and noticed some of the seals are pretty rough. I'd heard those seals were tough to come by, sigh... Anybody have any tricks or techinques to do a home refurbishment?? I'm open to ideas or suggestions... |

soaking the crunchy seals in son of a gun is good for them. when they are flattened, they're hard to recover. if they are torn, you can tack them together with a good, high body adhesive. i use black. glue them up before you soak them in the son of a gun. |

Not a bad idea. My main issue is I'm missing some material on the driver's side vertical window seal along the rear of the driver's window edge. Thought about trying to bond some new material to the original seal and form it as need be, but how and what material and adhesive to use?? My first thought was the foam insulation for water heater pipes/lines. Thoughts or suggestions up to and including "go soak your head"!?
