What is the best head gasket for a 94? The one I pulled out had much larger than needed opening around the head coolant ports and the accumulated gunk corroded the surface. See the pics below: ![]() ![]() I'm having the surface lightly cut, but the corrosion is ~.060 deep, so that will stay; not really a function problem, yet. If all gaskets are like that I'll put some ultra RTV in the unneeded areas to add some protection... |

Clean it up and go to autozone and get you a felpro and forget it. |
