scoobs, you were square with your tire guy and i was proud of you. :D

i'm telling you guys, honesty and square dealing is always the very best policy.

enginedoctor, i read you loud and clear. it's all in what you value in your life.
:gp

Too many people cry foul when someone gives them poor service or won't make good on a warranty problem but then see no problem trying to take advantage of and basically stealing from a warranty or an insurance company.
I have to face myself in the mirror every day and don't really want to have to avoid eye contact with myself. :hiding

my mom always told me that 2 wrongs didn't make a right. :D

But...three do!

But seriously...if the first set of tires lasted 70k miles, I'd have to wonder if

a: If there were suspension/steering issues...that's time enough for significant wear, bumped curbs, lost alignment, etc.

b: Driving habits have changed...more starting/stopping, more high speed freeway driving, more fun curvy roads, someone new driving, etc.
