I had a nice talk with a fellow who has a transmission shop out in the country. He is a "Festiva Guy" but has had a number of Metros and is familiar with both cars. During our "bench 'racing' session," I mentioned how they put the displacement of the engine clearly on the block for tax purposes in Japan. When I showed him, he said, "So that's what that 750cm meant on this Metro I had." He said he had a 93 that had a block marked 750cm3. I remember reading about sub 1.0's for the Suzuki 3-cylinder but I don't remember any details. I know the Japanese Kei has a 660cm3 class. I wonder if the "750" block was a replacement used on a 1.0 engine? Thanks Tom |

never sold anything except 993cm³ in North America. I don't see a 750 anywhere in the list of Suzuki engines, certainly not in the "G" family. |
