i used to bolt a chain to the intake manifold on the rear of the engine and the other end onto the transmission where the battery ground cable goes. then i'd slip a 2 x 4 through the chain and get a strappin' lad on each end of the 2 x 4. i'd have them lift the power unit up as i pulled the engine mount bolts and helped to guide the engine and transmission out of the engine bay. you can get the engines in and out by yourself with an engine hoist. |
