:lol That just happened to me on the way home from work on saturday night. I had what seemed like an oil fart and everything went down hill from there. Damm it, if I would have had a fire extingusher I could have saved it. I had enough time to get some of my stuff out but I forgot to grab my glasses and my SCANGAUGE. :shit

Yes :smackface My scan gauge, What was I thinking. The fire was the most intense I've seen too. The day before I was under the hood and replaced a brake line all the way back. I could have bent or cracked a fuel line. Maybe Lulu felt scorned cuz I was looking at another Metro which I now have. It's a 96 with bad valves. I have the engine out already and another one from a 94 xfi ready to go in when I'm off for 4 days this comming weekend. I just had liability insurance so....I just handed the title over to the towing company. Looks like the only thing I could salvage was the 3.52 gears that took forever to get. Everything is fine, thanks for your concern. I'm a little sad cuz of all the work but I'll get over it, there's more Metros to save. Thanks Steve R.
