Suprisingly the frame horns on my 92 are almost in perfect condition . But my metro sat for over 6 years in a guys carport keeping the weather off of it. But because it was never ran (i'm assuming it's that reason) The body frame has started to bow noticeably. Seriously you have to lift up on the doors and slam them to get them to shut. And the convertible top doesn't want to come down and lock for some reason.

Now i'm just wondering , is there any way at all to help with bowing in a frame? (im assuming once the frame gets like this it's pretty much :shit and should be :deal sold to someone else for them to deal the problem.
But i love the little car. :drivin

Turbine Tech frame braces would help stabilize the frame.
New door pins/bushings would help with the door.
Not sure about the convertible top.
Hopefully someone will chime in.

'Verts have extra bracing inside the rocker panels because there is no top support. check the rockers for rust. remove the seats and pull the carpet up from the door area and check inside the round holes in the angle of the floor-----------you will probably find massive amounts of rust in both areas. When this area rusts on a 'Vert it will fold up like a book

Yeah, There's a large amount of rust on the body itself underneath but not up near the engine for some reason. The floorboards itself are almost completely gone when i get in the thing to drive it, i pretty much am paranoid to stand on the floor lol.

So, What can you do to fix that kind of damage old man

first you need to get someone who knows metros to take a look

All you list for location is "west virginia" -- long way from top to bottom -- I suggest that you go through the "available mechanics" thread and see if you can connect with someone near enough to take a look -- scroll down til you see a list on the first page.
