start by checking the ignition fuse. it could be anything from a bad crank or cam angle sensor to the ecu. pull one of the spark plug cables, roll the engine, and see if you can jump a spark to the block.

I tried that and there is no fire, I'm just gonna have to break down and start replacing stuff, a few times in the last month it would take a second to start and when I would drive down the road just after I started it it would act like it was starving for fuel for like 3 seconds then pick back up.

I seen your from Columbus I'm just down the road in West Portsmouth!

Have you made all your grounds reflective? Find every ground possible, pull it, scrub it, scrub the surface is sits on, scrub the bolt that holds it in. When you can see a reflection, put it back on. Bad grounds cause gremlins.

No spark from the coil, so the ground is located somewhere within the coil, ecm, wiring, grounds, ignition, distributor maybe? Start testing parts, that'll get expensive really fast to replace everything.

Quoting a post from Mwebb here

use a cheap test light
the kind that does not use LEDs

from battery positive to the coil negative , when cranking the starter , the light should blink
brightly

if no

switch test light to from battery negative to coil negative
key on , the light must light , cranking the starter the light must light .

This topic the car would crank but wouldn't start. Didn't have any spark, was his dist ground wire http://geometroforum.com/topic/4763482/1/

if yes
the problem is not the coil but is in primary ignition circuit

:banghead

You can do that, replace parts until you accidentally fix it, or you can follow the clear logical troubleshooting procedure in the service manual until you find out which part is bad. Very good chance it's not any bad part, just a bad ground or connection.
