Hi All,, I need help locating the diagnostic plug for my 1993 geo 1.0. My FSM has done me well.. but I'm unable to locate the plug. On a brighter side I compression tested my new motor at 130 miles.... and 174, 174, n 173... I'm not used to an idle that isn't smooth.. And thx to this forum.. fixed the headlight ground.. Back to the plug... I have the timing close... but I want it Right... Thx Paul

Diagnostic plug is next to the fuse box driver's side of the firewall next to the hood hinge. You can see the little white jumper I keep tucked in to the rubber cover on mine. Pull off the rubber cover and there she be. Good numbers on the comp test that'll keep climbing for awhile.

Hi All, I set the T/S OR TPS.. (5speed) to 1.0 with the 0.014 feeler guage between the throttle stop. Yes... and then set the timing to 10 degrees.. will go from there. Still need to fit the vaccum guage to diagnos the miss.
