Here is a chart I found of resistance values. 210F 100C 185ohms 160 70 450 100 38 1800 70 20 3400 40 4 7500 20 -7 13500 0 -18 25000 -40 -40 100700 This chart can be used for both the coolant temp sensor and the intake air temp sensor. Test both sensors at room temp and after warming up. You can remove sensors from car and put em in the fridge for a while if you really want to check the low end of their range, but your problem is occuring now when it is warm, so I would skip that for now. Poorman has a good point also, fuel can leak through a cracked fuel pressure regulator diaphragm. One side of the diaphragm has fuel and the other has vacuum, therefore a crack would let unmetered fuel directly into the manifold and you wouldn't see it drip from the injector. To test for that you will need to tee into the fuel pressure line right where it enters the throttle body and connect a gauge. Cycle the key to prime the fuel pump, but don't start it. Pressure should be 23-31 psi and should hold steady for at least 2 minutes. If pressure drops off, you need to find out from where. |
