Nice wheel, not so nice choice of tire brand though.

Normally I would have purchased something better but there weren't many choices in this size. These had a 4 out of 5 star customer review and were only $265 shipped to my door so I thought what the heck. I ended up liking these so much that I bought another set for my other Metro. The handling/turn in feel and overall grip wet or dry is quite impressive for such a low cost tire. Far better then some of the costlier name brand tires I've had in the past. Quick reply.. The 15s and bigger do look nice and I'm sure a lot less body roll. I posted my "new" rims over in http://geometroforum.com/topic/701184/14/ and some comments on esthetics went from there ;-) BTW, this seems popular enough that some further organization/consolidation might be nice; maybe a post in the sticky with links to all of the related threads. |
