Got 70 MPG?

It should be the bottom one since it has the dot above it. I have a newer gear with only one factory setting and the dot is directly above the slot.

You can use either mark. Just make sure that the dowel pin is on the bottom when putting on the timing belt.

They're not the same, I just can't remember exactly how much additional advance the second one is, but I'm still wanting to say it's +2.

60A is +2 degrees and 80C is 0. Either will work fine. Just make sure the dowel is pointing down when you align the marks. If not cylinder one will not be TDC.

I wonder why the dot is there then? I figured it was some sort of indication from the factory that it was the stock setting... :hmm

Dunno. I think I read somewhere it was used on two different engines so I guess that means it was stock on one of them.

According to my book, the arm with the dot and 60A under it should be at the 8 oclock position,.. so the two slots are at approx. 6 oclock and 1 oclock. The arm with 60C and a slot on the rim above it should be lined up with the reference mark on the valve cover.
