I hate to be the one that dashes your dream but I'm fairly certain that the M.S.D. electronics are aimed at the high performance market and, trust me on this one, GEO Metro's aren't high on their list. If so, I have a Toro lawn mower that could use some help.

You would be better off checking team swift for this stuff. I'm pretty sure someone has replaced their coil with an MSD blaster coil (maybe bogs?). And you can wire an MSD ignition box into just about anything. Skip the E3 plugs though, they're just a gimmic. You probably won't see much of a gain with this stuff.

I looked at MSD systems for a long time but the Multi Spark seemed to be only for below maybe 3,000 rpm? Which would be good for clean combustion? Low torque performance? Quick take offs?

I figured to that it means that under 3K you are using your distributor, rotor, spark plugs, wire and coil 2X as much so lifespan on ignition parts would be 1/2 as long.

Only a couple of manufactures offered any MSD system above 3,000 rpm where the 3 cylinder Geo just begins to make horsepower. Peak being around 5,700 rpm. http://www.pertronix.com/prod/ig/strike/default.aspx

Pertronix would develop an aftermarket ignitor for our Geos if there were a need for one. http://www.pertronix.com/prod/ig/ignitor/default.aspx But we don't seem to have a high failure rate even after 20 years.
