Hey guys i have a good one for you, i have a 1996 Geo Metro with the 3 cylinder and a 5 speed tranny, the car runs great and the clutch does not slip at all but the problem im having is that once you move there is about a 500-1000 rpm range that i get a bad vibration in the clutch pedal and shifter but after you get to alittle higher rpm it stops and eveything is smooth again untill you shift and hit the same rpm band as before and it does it again but again once you go higher in the rpm everything is smooth, the whole car does not vibrate and it very smooth driving down the road, even when the shifter and pedal is vibrating the car is also smooth so i know nothing like rotors or steering problems or anything like that is wrong, any help would be greatly appreciated thanks :banana

Welcome to the forum. Have you checked your mounts?
Also check to make sure your not getting a bit of clutch chatter. Maybe the throw out arm is to tight?

With the car warm and running. Push the clutch pedal to the floor, counting onethousand one,.... To #3. It should shift into Reverse cleanly by then. No pumping the pedal or having to try to shift into R a second time. No grinding or thump as it hits. There should be about 1/16-1/8" free play between the TO arm and adjusting nut. To tight and it might want to slip. To loose and it my not want to release. How many miles on this clutch? If its a hi mileage clutch, it may be time to replace it with a new one.

I just got the car and the clutch feels great, no slippage or anything, slides right into gear with no raking but sometimes when you shift into reverse it won't go untill you start letting the clutch out and then it goes in but with no popping or raking, the car has 211,000 miles but was told it was replaced before I got it but you never know if people tell the truth and I was just going to put a clutch kit in it with new everything And I'm not sure how many miles is on this clutch and how can I check to make sure my motor mounts and trans mounts are good, thanks

Mr Murf is strong enough to reach in and try shaking the engine/trans while it's in place to see how much wiggle room the mounts have.
I've been using a 2x4 to see if I can lift/wiggle/move the engine/trans while it's in place.
If you put your front up on jacks and posted a video of the engine/tran going through the gears, that would be great.
