OMG EVERYONE I GOT HER TO FIRE UP! Thank you Bad Bent and Blue Rhino. LOL I was stubborn and thought for sure I had my Firing order correct but, I said What else do i have to lose. I took a pice of paper and drew the diagram above and sure enough spark plug wire #2 was in #3!!! Weird. But She wanted to start firing up but, she was low on juice, I hooked up my jumpers to my truck and and boom she started up. I saw over her the PCV valve was out so I put that back in its hole, then she cut off, I was like well !!!!! She needs a new PCV Valve! strange thing is that PCV is no more then 2 months old that I just replaced it! Gusse That was a bad PCV! Going get new Air Filter because the one thats on her got real dirtied up, and replacing the PCV. I still want to run a compression test on her! and I will. Cannot Thank you all enough! LOL all that work and turns out to be the firing order! omg! I cant belive this. THANK YOU> However when she started up I did have the Cat off so I will have to attach that back on her and test her again, Thank You everyone, I still would like to keep this forum going on just in case. Before comes to an end until I get her all back together and start driving her around. Thx again everyone. |

Well mine did not and I know because I got her to empty and she would only take 7.4 Gallons Max! Would not let me feed any more Gas into her! Promise you own this geo sense 2008 about 5 years running with her now. I know what your saying but, I looked at the specs too for it and says it hold 10.6, but mine only held about 7gallons. Don't know why. But it did, Well got this new tank on and she bran new and no leaks from now on. ![]() My uncle says I should sell her! LOL and for me to get a new car!! Don't really want to sell her! lol Can you blame me? LMao Edited by fritzgeo, Sep 6 2012, 12:31 AM.

Gotta believe you, you know your car. You've read the threads on most of our gauges hitting the red mark and only taking 7-7.5. Glad you got it running. Now, drive it like an ecomodder and when you get +/- 50 mpg compare gas purchase receipts with your uncle. He may change his mind or he's just pulling your chain.

Lol right, Well I got all my stuff for her today. I got her new oil, and filter. New PCV Valve, New Air Filter AND Got the compression test kit from my friend. So I am going to do all of that tomorrow hopefully. Then test drive her up and down my road like for 20 miles back and forth just to make sure she dont die on me on the main road! |

Sigh I am back everyone, I got her new PCV Valve installed and new air filter. I started her up and she was running great in ideal mode. I close the hood down then I put her in reverse give her a little bit of gas and start reversing then she starts stalling on me and dies. I try cranking her back on and she was giving me issues trying to start, she started up but she is shaking then she just dies. I really don't know on this, I looked in my book and it said it could be the Throttle Sensor or the PCM (Powertrain Control Module). To me its like she not getting fuel down there! But I hear the injector going and I see fuel from it being added! I am really stumped! I added a little bit of oil down the oil refill and I am letting her cool for a bit to see if she starts and see if that catalytic is bad! Dunno! Any help would be appreciated. Sorry to hear that man. I've been doing a lot of looking into stuff for my car related to oil pressure. Something I came across that I'll just throw out there as a though is that if the pressure gets to high, the car will die. I probably should go back through and read if you have a oil pressure gauge hooked up to rule that out but I don't really have the time today. Just a thought. |

I put a little bit more oil in her like a half a quart, and waited like a good 10 minutes, then I went to her and i try starting her up and she started up. What I am noticing is that I am having to hold down the ignition key for a little bit to get her to go! Normally it should be less then a 2 second hold on the ignition key for her to fire up! Right? I am going to replace the oil in her and filter now, bought new motor oil and filter for her. Hopeing that this will do the trick. Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated. Sincerely; FritzGeo |

Well, I think her oil pressure is fine because I put her on ramps and let her run for a good bit and she must have good pressure to bring it up. I dont have a Oil Pressure Gauge to test her Oil Pressure out. |
