alright guys, im preparing the '92 xfi for winter and am in need of some new tires, while im at it i want to take the opportunity to upgrade my tire size, i found a set of 15x6 wheels off a nissan altima locally for cheap but i dont know what size tires i would need to give it the right look with minimal rubbing and a fairly accurate speedo? anyone used this size wheel before?

Got boost?

195/50R15 tires are a good fit and shouldn't rub. They are very close in circumference to the 155/80R13 tires that came on the 95+ cars. Your speedo would be accurate if you got the speedo gear from the top of the transmission on a 95+ manual metro.

155/80-13s are 22 15/16 inches high and 6 1/8 inches wide.
195/50-15s are 22 13/16 inches high and 7 3/4 inches wide

height is close---width difference is 1 5/8 inches !!

(all measurements close but not exact)
