Metro has no nipples?

I peaked underneath recently to do some lubing, but I see no nipples. What do folks do to lube their metro? replace parts or repack?

There are no grease zerks on a stock Metro, but if you replace the tie rod ends with Moog, you will have them. You can also add grease zerks to the ball joints by drilling and tapping, but that is optional.

Its optional, but not recommended. I tried that and there was no room at all for the grease fitting to even be threaded in without hitting the ball joint bottom.

I zirk'd the joints on the shifter, the threads must be ground shorter to fit, and the spring not lost.
You could also JBWeld the thread sticking out, it doesn't need lots of strength.
