Hi, I have a 3rd gen metro sedan and every time I open and close the trunk it squeaks like crazy, does anyone know what I can do to reduce the squeak? |

Adjust the latch down a little bit. It will hold it tighter. |

if its squeaking while driving then adjust the rubber stops a little tighter and put just a dab of grease on each one where it hits the metal. If its squeaking as its opening and closeing then grease/WD40 the hinges. |

I don't do sedans, so not too familiar with them. My son's Prelude trunk was making a bad squeak & I figured out it was the two tension rods rubbing together. See if your setup is the same & put some cardboard between the two rods where they meet. If it fixes it, make something to act as an insulator & shove it in there
