Here is the damage from when the Rod Cap seems to have had the nuts come off the threads appear to be intact still on the nuts. I'm going to try to just dress up the crank on the bad cylinder and new bearings on all. Not much $$ to do much more so hoping it works out.

If it were my engine I wouldn't reuse a piston or rod that had suffered that fate.

Don't know has red RTV on the pan and no real evidence of work at least professional work. Had Damn Autolite plugs in it.

Under normal conditions I wouldn't either but I just wanna see if it will run at least and maybe later go in deeper.
