Okay, Vandals took out my rear glass. I've got a few potential replacement hatches but the nearest is 73 miles away. I'd rather drive my LSi than my Jeep Grand Cherokee or the Family Odyssey. BUT, WILL IT FIT IN MY CAR??? Anyone do this? Any pix? I was thinking of taking out my passenger seat to help matters. I'm probably picking up the hatch tomorrow (FRIDAY 14 Sept 2012) or at the latest Saturday morning so I NEED FAST ANSWERS> Thanks! |

I think it will, but I am not 100%. An easy way to test would be remove your current hatch, and try to fit it in your car. Edited by Coche Blanco, Sep 13 2012, 04:50 PM.

I put a 93 hatch in a 95 metro with no problem. Dont know how much trouble the 95 hatch would be to put in the 95 though. You could always carry a fewwrenches and change it on the spot. |

Regarding changing it on the spot. I could ... yes, but I'd take the bigger car instead. I want to keep both hatches. I know I'll run across a need for an extra some day. |

I was able to do it with my 93. You should (add disclaimer here) be able to do it in a 95. |

i fit my new hatch in my 93 2 door. i bought it with a broken hatch, and had to get a replacement. and on a side note, in one trip, i fit a furnace, a few metal bars, a small snow blower, 2 30 gal trash bags of cans in my 2 door. and another trip i stuffed it clear full of wood. a sizeable pile of wood. vandals suck. i had to replace a window and a stereo and a cd collection on my old corsica in my younger days. |

Yeah. I put a 94 hatch in my 93. If I remember right it went in sideways outside down and I needed to tilt the back of the passenger seat forward to make it fit. Might also fit outside up, but I think then the sharp corner of the hatch will gouge the back of your passenger seat. Bring towels, rags, moving blanket, etc. to protect paint/glass. I really hate broken windows. No matter how well I clean out the broken glass I still periodically find little pieces for years afterwards. |

Yes. Been there, done that. No pictures. The little alien creatures are still PO'd from 1.0smallblock's thread. They threatened to terminate my convex carbon fuel conversion device subscription if I posted pictures. |
