I have a 93 Geo Metro with a 3 cyl motor. I work as a truckdriver. My boss screwed me out of some pay. Can I use truck diesel oil in a Geo? Thanks |

If it is 10-30 go ahead, if it is 15w40 it will be too thick. I don't know if anyone recommends mixing grades though. Maybe some 0-20 with the 15-40? |

I've used 15w-40 mixed with 10w-30 in my 4runner when I was in a pinch and didn't have any engine problems from mixing grades. |

As long as you purchased the oil rather than just taking it, it should work fine. Getting screwed on your pay sucks, but make sure you are dealing with the issue properly...maybe you need a new boss. Show him how to properly treat people...if nothing else, it'll make finding your next job a lot easier... If he offered it in lieu of your pay, use it and be happy. Thanks to all. I'm going to (mostly) take the high road on this deal and just get a new boss. I don't know what I will do with a gallon of delo but it sure as hell ain't going in my metro. If my bosses oil fouled up my favorite car I'd go over the edge. |
