Already have my no-blow gasket in and 99% back together. Water pump pully and oil and its back running.

I'm curious as to what caused the head gasket to blow out. If the engine overheated, then simply putting a new head gasket in and letting it ride is an iffy repair at best, don't ya think?

those evergreen head gaskets are like peanut butter smeared on a piece of window screen and they last about that long!

It started out sucking water. i stopped driving it before it started leaking into the oul. It was Idling in the driveway when it started leaking into the oil.
