Pull to left during hard braking

I was driving on the highway yesterday (93 xfi hatch) and the car infront stopped suddenly and I had to jam the brakes. Under the hard braking my car veered to the left pretty hard. Now whenever I hit the brakes decently hard my car will pull to the left. Under light braking it feels normal.

Could this be an issue with the brakes or the suspension? Does any body know how I could diagnose this?
Thanks in advance! :cheers

Check your right front caliper. Pulling left indicates the left brake is working but the right is not.

I agree. You may have siezed pads in the perches, a sticking caliper, or a bad brake hose on the right side front.

This is weird but today as I drove (having yet to inspect the brakes) the problem seems to have went away.
I was testing it by braking hard when the road was clear and it wasn't pulling.
I wonder what could have caused it to happen a couple days ago and not today?

I know the brake fluid has not been changed in this car for at least a couple years, could old fluid cause the brakes to not perform consistently?

Caliper was stuck but has now broken loose.

I would replace both loaded calipers and hoses. But that's just me, I don't screw around when it comes to brakes.
