I got a spare GT steering wheel when I bought my turbo sprint bundle and I want to install it in my '94. The problem I have is this little guy that shuts off the turn signal after the turn ![]() My steering wheel has these dimples that the plastic locks into ![]() but the mk2 gt wheels have these tabs on them ![]() I looked at an mk2 steering column and it doesn't have this spacer. So... has anyone ever done this swap or have any ideas on how to go about it? Thanks, Andrew |

If you take the 2 pins out, and drill some new holes to be able to put that plastic one in, you should be Ok. |

I compared the spacer to the gt wheel, and it looks like the pegs on the spacer are too wide for the hub on the wheel. I might be able to grind notches in the outside of the hub and see if the pegs catch on it but IDK how well that'll turn out. Any other suggestions?
