After much searching, I didn't find what I was looking for.

When I bough my 98 4/4/3 it has just been washed and the windows worked great. Get home and there all stiff. A little dry lube fixed all but the drivers door. I popped that panel off to see the regulator is a junk yard part. I need my best to bend it back in to shape. Still wanted to tilt forward and work like frozen dog poop. So I popped for a new acdelco regulator. Four days late it's installed and still tilts a 1/4" forward Gawddamnit!!!!!!

So here is the point of this thread. There is room for adjustment in the bolt pattern of the door. I've tryed and failed for two hours yeasterdsy and this morning. Whats the trick?

My best luck has come from leaving the adjustment screws loose, rolling the window up so the window sits in the correct spot (manually move it if needed), put a little pressure against the window with the regulator, then tightening the screws and give it a test. Good Luck!

That's the second thing I did. The first was to put it the the same spot.

What is shown in the link worked in my 94. Lubricant is key. I tried teflon and it made it worse.

good call. I just used heavy silicon dry lube. seem to help alot! I still think I need to move the regulator just a bit.

IN my experience, the problem is the rubber seals at the very front of the window opening, behind the mirror. A nice schpritz of silicone lube about once a month keeps everything working smoothly.
