Engine control module. The cars computer. You follow that pink/white wire from the fuel relay and you will find it. I would suspect a wire issue or ground highly before a defective ecm.

All the grounds I can see look ok. The one attached right next to the intake manifold. The ones on the firewall. All look fine.

So the pink wire is suspect at this point? I think it was a little strange that it start clicking and the fuel pump turned on once the tester made contact with it.

The ecm controls the fuel relay thru the pink/white wire to the fuel relay. You are not getting the signal from the ecm to control the relay thru that wire. Pink/white wire. There should be more than one wire attached to the intake manifold. Snap some pictures of the back of your intake.

You need to make sure the grounds don't just "look" good, you need to make sure they "are" good.
You must physically loosen them, clean them, and bolt them back down. Looking just wont cut it.
I know this from experience, I pulled my hair out for over a month trying to figure out why my wifes Metro wouldn't start, and it all came down to the grounds "looked" good.
Do yourself a favor, clean them!!!

What do you use to clean them?

The reason the relay clicked when you probed the pink/white wire is because you provided a ground to it thru the test light. The ecm usually controls this ground on that wire when it is functioning properly.

If you have a small wire brush, or some sandpaper, that would work.

How difficult is it to install a ECM?

Here's where the most important ground is, clean it up with a wire brush or fine sandpaper.

Still very stuck on this.

I think the picture above is of a different year than my vehicle. I've been looking for that bottom ground bolt for 15 minutes and I do not see it under my intake manifold.

I cleaned all the grounds I could find. Still no result. :banghead :banghead :banghead
