I am trying to put a standard transmission on my car. I have heard through this web site that you can fill up the transmission oil though the speedometer cable hole. When I tried to remove that 10 mm or 12 mm bolt it broke What next. is there any help out there? |

I'd say leave it and just use the normal fill plug. Extracting the broken bolt, with the engine/transmission in the car, is not impossible. But it's going to be a real wrestle. It will need heat, possibly a welded nut on the broken stud, drilling, tapping, or all of the above, to get the piece out. Then there's no guarantee that the speedometer drive will come out easily. It's been in there for 20+ years. Welcome to the party!
