I'd like to keep the '94 base auto engine wiring harness (having a hard time finding a 94 manual with A/C loom) and "simply" wire in the reverse switch plug to the proper pins/wires. I have a donor plug from a non-A/C car with a foot of wire pigtail. The FSM is a little unclear to me as to where to make the connection; has anyone done this, or know the pin(s)? How about the page(s) in the FSM I should be looking at? There are quite a few, unlike the old Chilton style with one big diagram... Thanx |

OK - it looks like I should be able to connect it to pins 1 and 7 of the Park/Neutral connector. I'll post some FSM pics later in the How-to thread. The other I'm looking into is the Vehicle Speed Sensor; the manual seems to not show anything related to manual trans - it seems that just automatics have 2 sensors (speedo and trans mount) and the manual simply uses the speedo one so there's nothing to do in a swap? |
