is this rust? Someone in San Fran is selling this and I dont know what that crap is on the bottom of the car. I live in a place that never rains so we dont have rust and what not. These are funny cars http://images.craigslist.org/3mf3Fd3J25L95H25J2caa6e183c68477d114f.jpg |

um, looks like a closer inspection is in order. Is the paint bubbling/bulging where discolored? If so, rust. It is water damage of some kind. |

Agreed on the water issue but may or may not be rust - looks a lot like the black mold we get here when things sit in the shade during the wet season. If it's the mold some soap and oxygen bleach will take it right off. Definitely needs a closer look. Good luck! |

Suzuki x90! Yeah they are actually really rare! Only 7000 or so made in the US... Which is kinda why I want one. Everyone thought they were ugly I assume. They are a Suzuki Sidekick with a different body. They even have 4 wheel drive Lol.

That looks like the runoff from being rustproofed. Lots of cars look like that here. It is the waxy liquid they spray on to prevent rust. Better check it but I would bet heavily on that. |

We don't get rain in Southern Cali... so I haven't really seen rust on a car. |
