I'm new to Metros so I don't know whether this is normal or not. I have my own theory about it already.

Is the flywheel supposed to be showing under the engine?

I have a feeling there should be some cover there, no?

Btw, this car is new to me. I've only owned it for a few weeks. Please ignore the massively rusty exhaust and extremely greasy oil pan.

Got 70 MPG?

You're right, it's missing the cover. You should be able to pick up a cover and the 2 bolts for it at a junkyard for cheap.

Turbo3 and Twincam Tweaker

yeah, there's an inspection cover missing in that pic.

it has 2 m10 bolts to hold it in place between the oil pan and the transmission bell.

you can see the inspection cover peeking out from behind the oil pan in this shot. i had it chrome plated for my blue monster turbo3 (g10t) but it's the same as what goes onto a normally aspirated g10.

Ok, thanks guys! I was expecting there would be one there. Who knows what kind of crap can get up there without one.

Does the exhaust double as an oil preheater in that one? ;)

Mine is missing and I forgot to get one at the yard last time. I might fab one from stainless sheet.
