Took the Geos on Ashtabula County Covered Bridge Tour

We started the tour in the wife's car in western parts of the county.............

We finished it with the last 3 bridges near our home in another Geo.............

Ashtabula County Ohio is the largest county in Ohio and on the NE tip bordering PA and Lake Erie. Very beautiful around here.

Memphis metro


I saw a covered bridge not long ago that was made out of a 53 foot trailer. It was pretty neat. Looked like these.

When we left the hotel the day after GeoPalooza, on the way to Niagara Falls, I put together a mini covered bridge tour between the hotel and the main highway. Managed to hit five of them without really going far out of our way. It was nice, the grandchildren liked it. On Plymouth Ridge Rd or Green Hill Rd we stumbled across a little hollow called Sheffield which is the city in England where three of the grandchildren live. Had to clamber out of the van to take pictures of everyone gathered around the sign. It was nice.
