If they upgraded it to 3 cylinder, and maybe added a few safety features I'd look into it.
2 cylinder just seems... scary.
Suzuki really should have brought the 3 cylinder Metro back, They'd be getting tons of sales again.

If it cost $3,000 it would be awesome. $9,000? Just get a normal subcompact for a few grand more.

If they can make it meet US crash standards for $9,000... more power to'em :thumb

That's not far off from the original Metro pricing, less probably. If they really take off (which I am actually betting considering gas prices aren't going to get any cheaper)... a LOT of Americans could very well buy it for their "second car". At $9,000 NEW... that's a real possibility.

If it gains market share.... THIS is the new Geo Metro :thumb

The Nano is currently powered by a 37 hp two-cylinder engine and lacks common safety features such as power steering, traction control and airbags.

Sounds like my geo with a few less HP and minus one cylinder!

no f%^&ing way. i saw one of these when i was in india. i thought it was hella small, and that was when the geo was the only car i owned. i would buy one in a heartbeat for 3 grand. hell, if it's less than 10k i will buy one if it comes here. a v-twin with 50+ mpg. count me in.
