From a collection point of view, a stock condition, unmolested lean-burn VX in awesome shape would simply be awesome!! Post pics if you get one!! :thumb

I LOVE my METRO ....LOVE IT.....BUT! I'm an ex Honda tech and if I found a VX or an HF for a good price I'd drop my Metro. The amount of parts/prices available for a Honda is unfair. The engine is almost as easy to work on as a Metro ( ALMOST :P ).
The only problem is finding one that has not been molested by some JDM freak ! It pisses me off when I see these HF's and VX's dropped-chopped and hopped. They say they make great donor cars because they are light. Yea but after they put in all that aftermarket crap and a bigger engine the car weigh 1 1/2 times more than normal.

Please save these Hondas if you see them!

A VX would destroy a Metro in MPG in most of the commutes the people who drive Metros use them. The VX/Insight are MPG kings at those speeds.

The EPA says no contest:

VX 48/55
XFI 53/58

The EPA says a lot of things....

If it weren't for lean burn, it would be no contest.

EDIT: And if you don't drive using lean burn the results would be about what the EPA says.
So you're saying that Honda went to all the trouble of developing this lean burn system, but couldn't figure out how to get it to work during the EPA test? Poppycock.

There are some folks on mpgomatic and ecomodder that supposedly get 50 or 60 mpg highway with little effort, just driving light footed, and using E0 gas.

I think he is saying the EPA is wrong, not honda.

I have beat epa estimates in all my cars by driving them easy.
