Their news programs are fair and balanced. They present both sides of an issue. Go to the media research center and read how many pos. and neg. stories a network reports about any subject. Obama, Romney, Bush, . You're so used to seeing ONLY the left viewpoint presented on your news program that any mention of the other side's viewpoint causes you to scream BIAS. What's really biased is when you only see one side presented as news and or fact.

Please tell me what day John McCain or Mitt Romney was interviewed on O'Reilly. How about Dick Cheney? If they leaned so far to the right you would think those guys would be killing themselves to get on the #1 cable news show (for 12 years in a row) but they know they would be raked over the coals (well, at least asked tough questions). You can't possibly say the same for any liberal that ran/won Prez or VP. Yeah, Each side will see what they want but it is a very provable fact that the news side and quite a bit of the commentary side is fair and balanced.

Yes, I am a fan of some of the shows on Fox but if they were hard right I wouldn't be watching.

Yes, definitely.

No need for me to watch the special. The admin lied to cover up the failure. It more than likely would have happened no matter who was in office. Some things never change other than it hasn't been covered in the media in this case.

Wow......mrc is biased to the right. please look up mrc and google brent bozell.

I know all sides are biased in some ways, but to think that one news channel is perfect is BS.

I never said FNC was perfect. The reason they are number 1 is that they only report on the facts and the news anchors don't offer any opinion. The way you know a news guy is fair- when he interviews the other guy you're cheering "get him", but when he interviews your guy you're yelling "cheapshot"! He (she) hits both sides with hard but fair questions. (O'reilly is not a news program but even he is fair, #1 for years and years)

You say they are number 1....true. Why are they number 1? They are the only real conservative news channel.

Lets say there are 50 conservatives and 50 liberals going to watch the news. There is one conservative station and 5 left leaning stations. Obviously the conservative station will have the most while the left stations get a portion of their audience.

You do know fnc gave the republicans 1 million during the 08 or 2010 election.

Im not trying to make this as fnc is bad. Just as far as fnc is right, msnbc is left. It just seems that many fnc viewers really think its fair and balanced

People have a hard time understanding that Fox offers news AND opinion programming, and the two are very exclusive of each other. Folks who don't watch the channel just don't know this. They assume that Fox anchors are as biased to the right as MSNBC and CNN anchors are to the left. Not so. Some people believe that any channel other than an Obama Cheerleading Channel is somehow hopelessly unfair. To be perfectly honest, Bret Baier gives me more good news on Obama than I really care for. But if I am hearing it from him and on Fox, I know it is probably true. Tune in to Special Report sometime and see for yourself.

Libya...what a clusterf&^k.

The Obama administration knew practically in real-time that the attack on September 11th of this year was terrorism. Embassies and consulates have...CAMERAS! There are also emails and cables that prove it. From what I have heard, the consulate in Benghazi was relatively undefended because the administration was afraid of "sending the wrong message" to our new Libyan friends by having a hundred or so blue-eyed, 6'5", 240 lb, corn-fed Iowa Marines with M4s and US flags on their shoulders stomping around the town. But, unfortunately, this sensitivity sent the wrong message to our new Libyan ENEMIES...and they took the opportunity to hit us on September 11. The ambassador himself saw this coming, and had complained about lax security for months up until hours before his death.

After the shit went down, the administration realized this situation had the makings of a political disaster. An administration caught flat-footed on...September 11th? A terrorist attack which resulted in the first assassination of a US ambassador in over 30 years? And 90 days before an election? They needed a cover story...and quick.

Obama made a very non-specific speech in the Rose Garden on September 14 where he discussed terrorism in general, and the September 11th, 2001 terror attacks specifically. Then he went into damage control mode. That is where the story of "the video" came along. The story about this video was not really new, and neither was the video. It had been released in July. On the day of the attack, it had about 300 views on YouTube, and nobody really knew much about it. Anywhere. But it was perfect cover. So for the next few weeks, all we heard from the administration was,

"It was the video."

"This attack was a spontaneous and understandable response to a video."

"This was a protest gone awry over insults to Islam in a video."

Etc, etc. And the press, as the administration hoped, was pretty compliant in advancing that narrative. Sometimes FORCEFULLY advancing it.

But then it became pretty obvious this was NOT a spontaneous protest (which just happened to occur on Sept 11th), but was a fairly large coordinated attack with small arms, mortars, and RPGs. The story began to unravel, and the administration then tried to "walk it back", with Obama himself even going so far as to contend that the nuanced and very general comment he made in the 9/14 Rose Garden speech was a report to the country that the Benghazi attack WAS TERRORISM! Even though he had spent the last three weeks saying it WASN'T! Romney called him on this inconsistency in the second debate, where he was double-teamed by the "moderator" Candy Crowley and Obama himself. Crowley had to admit she (and Obama) were wrong a few days later!

If it was terrorism and Obama knew it on September 14 (the Rose Garden speech), why did everyone in his administration...including HIMSELF...try so hard to convince us all the Benghazi attack was a spontaneous protest riot gone wrong?

Either the administration is lying, it is incompetent, or both. And four Americans are dead. What a mess...

Does the press at large care about this story? Not really. But they damned sure would if it were George Bush!

And that is why this is on FOX.

Yes, Fox News tends to lean right.

ALL the others tend to lean left, with CNN and MSNBC practically laying flat on their left side.

The difference is, Fox News will gladly tell you that they lean to the right, ALL the others vehemently deny any bias whatsoever.

Msnbc motto is lean left....how is that denying they are liberal.

Fox always denies being om the right.

And actually I do watch brett baier. It seems he does straight reporting. But hannity, oreilly, greta, that blonde in the afternoon all give conservative opinion. They also had sarah palin on their staff and have karl rove. So when do they give opinion and just tell the news.

Msnbc is equally left as fox is right. They have their liberal guys and liberal girls that look like guys. Lol. I do like morning joe on msnbc. The female co host is liberal but joe was a republican. I assume he was a new england republican since he is more moderate.

All the news outlets are bias one way or anther, but FOX is the only one that has gone to court to defend its right to lie to its viewers (helping the others to lie as well) :deal
