I keep blowing my 15 amp ignition coil fuse under the dash. It first blew yesterday i replaced it ran great for a while then it just keeps blowing them right away, so i stuck in a 20 amp fuse and i haven't had any problems yet.

About 50 miles before the problem started I regapped the spark plugs, it ran a little rough for about 2 blocks then i heard the spark plug gap tool that i left under the hood fall through the engine (sounded like it got caught in the belt). After that it ran great and smooth until the fuses started to blow relentlessly now. What is causing this possibly??

The wiring from the coil to the ECU is not too difficult to trace back if you don't mind tracing wires to find a short.

Replacing a blown fuse with a larger one might not be the best idea in the world. :oshit

Could not agree more about the bigger fuse comment. I recently tried to find the main 70a fuse in vain. Ended up using a 60a instead. No problems at all. I did find an intact 70a at the pick and pull the other day. Its hidden in a very god spot right now until I can get back down there and pick some other items. :rocker

did that with a jeep i had, ended up going from a 10 amp radio and accessory fuse, ended with a 35 amp fuse....fortunately for me it only burned out that circuit completely...didnt ignite like i thought it would have. going 5 amp over i would say could be harmless...however much over that and youre hunting shark in muddy water lol.

Update ive put off fixing the problem until now i started blowing 30 amp fuses, did some reading on here since i dont care to chase wires in 40 degree "heat" i pulled the main relay, fuel pump relay, radiator fan relay, and alse the two ac relays since it doesnt work anyways, i put back in the fuel pump relay and thee main relay and it actually runs again, any ideas where to take it from here?

Keep installing relays one at a time till it blows again. Remove the guilty relay and start troubleshooting that circuit.

Edit: I would go back down to the original size fuse to do the test.

According to your posts....the un-reinstalled relays are the fan and AC
Go back to the 15 amp fuse and plug in the fan relay.
Still not blowing the fuse?.
Plug in the AC relay.
Not blowing a fuse? Start again from scratch.
or
Blowing the fuse?
Check from 15 amp fuse to the BLK/WHT wire to the AC amplifier and through it to the PNK wire of the AC relay.
Perhaps the tool got caught in the AC belt and scuffed up an AC wire before falling to the ground.
